titleOfInvention | Polarized light guide plate and polarized plane light source |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To develop a light guide plate in which emitted light composed of linearly polarized light can be obtained with good uniformity of luminance and the polarization direction (oscillation surface) thereof can be arbitrarily controlled. SOLUTION: One or both sides of a translucent resin plate (1) A polarized light guide plate comprising a polarized light scattering plate (3) dispersedly containing a birefringent minute region and exhibiting scattering anisotropy depending on the polarization direction through a light passing path (2) and partially adhered thereto, and the polarized light guide plate A plane-polarized light source having a light source (8) on at least one side of the plane. [Effect] Natural light is incident on the side surface, linearly polarized light is efficiently emitted from the front and back surfaces of the light guide plate with uniform luminance, and the oscillation direction of the linearly polarized light can be controlled via the optical axis of the polarization scattering plate. |
