abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing monohydroxyadamantane esters useful as an intermediate of a photoresist material. SOLUTION: It is derived from a microorganism of the genus Absidia or a microorganism of the genus Rhizopus, and acts on the adamantane esters defined in the specification to produce the monohydroxyadamantane esters defined in the specification. A method for producing monohydroxyadamantane esters, which comprises reacting an enzyme having the ability to act on adamantane esters. |
