abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for diagnosing pancreatic cancer by detecting a specific structural change of chromosome in pancreatic cancer. SOLUTION: The chromosome of a cell of pancreatic cancer is revealed to have amplification or deletion of DNA at a specific site, and then amplification or deletion of a chromosome site specific to pancreatic cancer is detected. Thus, a method for diagnosing pancreatic cancer was provided.
