titleOfInvention | Development method of photothermographic material |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] Although a photosensitive material which is practically sufficiently high in contrast and has excellent halftone dot quality using a high-contrast auxiliary agent, the development progress speed is greatly affected by fluctuations in heat development processing conditions. Provided is a method for processing a photothermographic material which is not affected by the image and does not cause unevenness in image density. SOLUTION: A photothermographic material containing organic silver particles, photosensitive silver halide particles, a reducing agent, a hydrazine derivative, and a compound having a structure represented by the following general formula (J) is developed on a support. In the method, the processing temperature of the heat development unit is 100 ° C. or more and 150 ° C. or less, and the ratio of the path length (ps) of the heat development unit to the contact length (rs) of the heat development unit with the roller in the transport direction (rs) (rs / ps) is 0.6 or less. Embedded image (In the formula, R 1 and R 2 are each independently a monovalent substituent, and R 3 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or a monovalent metal atom.) |
