Method for removing halogen atoms from resin composition |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a halogen atom from a halogen-containing resin composition by a non-combustion method, a method having a small number of steps, easy operation, and high productivity. SOLUTION: (A) a resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin and a halogenated compound; and (B) a mixture composed of a metal or a metal compound having a boiling point of 400 ° C. or lower in combination with a halogen atom, and heated from 200 ° C. to 400 ° C.
