(57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for producing methane hydrate which can efficiently produce hydrate by increasing the utilization rate of natural gas. SOLUTION: A predetermined amount of raw water 16 is stored in a gas-liquid contact space 2 of a pressure-resistant container 1 capable of withstanding a predetermined high pressure, and flows into the pressure-resistant container 1 from a gas space 6 below the gas-liquid contact space 2. The gas flows through the gas-liquid contact space 2 and the gas space 27 above the gas-liquid contact space via the porous plate 5 to form a circulating flow of natural gas flowing into the gas space 6 below the gas-liquid contact space 2. The hydrate 14 by contacting the circulating flow with the raw water 16. |
