titleOfInvention Lactide / lactone copolymer and method for producing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lactide / .epsilon.-caprolactone copolymer excellent in heat resistance and impact resistance and a new highly efficient production method for stably supplying the copolymer to the market at low cost. I will provide a. SOLUTION: A lactide / lactone copolymer having an average chain length of lactide unit of 3 or more and an average chain length of lactone unit of 1 or more and 10 or less, wherein a lactide unit has a random portion with an average chain length of 5 or less and an average chain length of 5 or less. A lactide / lactone copolymer in which the average chain length of the lactide unit is 1 or more and 20 or less and the average chain length of the lactone unit is 3 or more, wherein the lactone unit has an average chain length of 5 or more; A copolymer comprising a random portion of 5 or less and a block portion having an average chain length of 5 or more. Also, in the synthesis of a lactide / lactone copolymer, the average chain length of each unit of the copolymer is controlled by a polymerization recipe of two or more steps.
