PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel tumor cell growth inhibitor which reduces the side effect and the problem of resistance of an anticancer agent conventionally used in cancer chemotherapy. SOLUTION: An ingredient derived from a lily plant having eating habits is: They found that they inhibited the growth of cancer cells, and purified and determined the structures of two novel steroid glycosides as active ingredients. |
