titleOfInvention | Offset printing method |
abstract | (57) [Summary] [Problem] To provide simple plate making suitability without using a developing solution, and print image quality supported by the discrimination of an image portion and a non-image portion on a printing surface. To provide an offset printing method that satisfies both sufficient printing durability. SOLUTION: A printing plate having a metal having a high-temperature hydrophilicity developing property on its surface is made hydrophobic, and then the surface is heated imagewise at a high-temperature hydrophilicity developing temperature, whereby a hydrophilic / hydrophobic region imagewise distribution is obtained. And forming an aqueous solution for electroless plating containing a water-soluble metal compound and a reducing compound, so that the oxidation potential of the reducing compound is lower (lower potential) than the reduction potential of the water-soluble metal compound. Contacting the original printing plate, electroless plating to form a thin metal layer imagewise in the hydrophilic area, further subjecting the hydrophobic area to hydrophilic treatment, and bringing the original printing sheet into contact with the ink. Forming an ink-receiving printing surface in a region having the thin metal layer by using the printing method, and performing printing. |
