(57) Abstract: An improved method for producing a transdermal drug delivery device and a device produced by the method. The present invention provides a thermal equilibration process for manufacturing a drug delivery device with a drug that eliminates the need to preload a body contact layer. This method has particular application in the manufacture of transdermal drug delivery devices that include a drug reservoir comprising the drug in an amount that exceeds the saturating concentration. |
