titleOfInvention Preparation of halogenated propane containing fluorine bonded to terminal carbon atom
abstract (57) Abstract: Formula CF 3 CHXCF 3-z Y z (X and Y is selected from the group consisting of H and Cl independently, z is 0 or 1) discloses the preparation of the compounds. This method comprises the steps of (1) fluorinating a CCl 3 CHXCCl 3-z Y z , CCl 2-z Y z = CXCC 3 , and / or CCl 2 = CXCC 3-z Y z starting material at a temperature below 200 ° C. By contacting with hydrogen, at least 90 mol% of a C 3 HXY z Cl 6 -z x F x saturated compound and a C 3 XY z Cl 5 -Zy F y olefinic compound (x is an integer of 1 to 6-z, producing a fluorinated product of the starting material, wherein y is an integer from 1 to 5-z, wherein the fluorinated product is about 40 mol% or less of the desired product. CF 3 CHXCF including 3-z Y z), ( 2) above (1) and the resulting unsaturated compound and an olefin-based compound at a temperature of 200 ° C. ~ about 400 ° C. in the gas phase, in the presence of a fluorination catalyst Contacting with hydrogen fluoride; and (3) a sufficient amount of the saturated compound produced in the above (1) (x is 1 -5-z) and the olefinic compound in the gas phase at a temperature of 200 ° C. to about 400 ° C., based on the amount of the starting material reacted with HF in (1) and (2). CF 3 CHXCF 3-z Y z so as to provide at least about 90% overall selectivity against, and a step of reacting with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a vapor phase fluorination catalyst.
