(57) [Summary]nThe present invention discloses a novel detection method for determining the presence of a target compound in a substance using a nucleic acid ligand as a detection molecule. Specifically, the substance is bound to a solid support matrix as used in the blotting method, and the target molecule is detected using the affinity and specificity of the nucleic acid ligand for the target molecule. The method used herein for identifying and preparing the nucleic acid ligand is referred to as SELEX. The method of the present invention can also be used to separate target compounds from various substances. |
