titleOfInvention Lens and connectable flow cell
abstract (57) SUMMARY An improvement to a biosensor having one or more reservoirs for analyzing a biological fluid is disclosed. The biosensor (190) includes a waveguide disposed between a plurality of members, such as plates (100, 186), and at least one formed as a wall of a reservoir for biologically analyzing a liquid. One or more members. The reservoir wall is preferably an inert, opaque material such as metal. The biosensor may include a gasket (162), but the gasket may be multiple (e.g., by placing the gasket in grooves formed in a metal plate) in a manner that does not form any significant portion of the reservoir wall. Engaged with the member and the waveguide. Waveguides of various compositions (eg, plastic, quartz, or glass) combine with components to form a biosensor. The metal plate of the biosensor has a port for injecting, discharging, and vibrating the liquid to be analyzed in the reaction reservoir. Therefore, although the present invention also discloses a sled-shaped planar waveguide connected to a rear lens for focusing light outside the waveguide, the waveguide serves as a quality control measurement, and thus a biosensor is used. Ensure that the lights are working properly positioned.
