SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a reactor pressure vessel (1) extending along a main axis (4) and having a metallic jacket (2) for receiving a core (5). The jacket (2) has an inner wall (3a) and an outer wall (3b). A protective layer (7) for protecting the jacket (2) against a molten metal generated when the core (5) is melted is disposed in a strip shape on the inner wall (3a). |
