titleOfInvention Electrochemical cell
abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To increase the decomposition rate by making the distance between an anode and a cathode uniform with a relatively simple structure. The electrochemical cell has a bottomed cylindrical shape that partitions a liquid tank (11) so as to form an anode chamber (19) for storing an anolyte (17) inside and a cathode chamber (20) for storing a catholyte (18) outside. A porous partition 16, a cylindrical anode 12 provided in the anode chamber and through which anolyte can flow, a cylindrical cathode 13 provided to surround the anode through the partition in the cathode chamber, and an anode A circulating means 21 for circulating the anolyte so that the anolyte passes therethrough. Supply unit 2 for supplying the substance to be treated 2 is provided, and the circulating means 21 includes an electric motor 21a, A rotary shaft 21b vertically provided at the center of the partition 16 and having a lower end reaching the bottom of the partition 16 and an upper end connected to the motor shaft of the electric motor 21a; and the anolyte 1 fixed to the rotary shaft 21b. 7 and a rotating blade 21 c for circulating the substance to be processed through the anode 12 by centrifugal force and returning to the inside of the anode 12.
