titleOfInvention | Fixing device |
abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a fixing device capable of performing high-speed fixing and having a long fixing roll life. A recording sheet carrying an unfixed toner image is provided. A fixing device provided with a fixing roll 1 having a halogen lamp 1d therein, in which the unfixed toner image 5 is heated and pressed while being contacted and rotated at the fixing position F to fix the unfixed toner image 5 on the recording paper 4. In the above, the fixing roll 1 is placed on the elastic layer 1b made of heat-resistant rubber having high thermal conductivity. A skin layer 1c of heat-resistant rubber having an elastic modulus of 5.0 × 10 −2 GPa or more was formed. |
