abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a lithographic printing plate precursor used for producing a lithographic printing plate by removing a silver thin film by using heat mode laser exposure, which is excellent in ablation suitability and excellent in ink receptivity. Another object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a lithographic printing plate precursor capable of obtaining stable printing performance. A physical development nucleus layer is provided on a web-like support having a hydrophilic surface or a hydrophilic layer, or a support having a surface active for physical development is selected. A silver halide emulsion layer is coated on the support, and then processed with a diffusion transfer developer containing a mesoionic compound to form a silver thin film on the support, thereby producing a lithographic printing plate precursor. how to. |
