abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] Vibrio parahemoritus aemolyticus) and a protein encoded by the gene. The present invention provides an RRF gene derived from V. parahaemolyticus, a protein encoded by the gene, and uses thereof. The RRF according to the present invention is a protein composed of 185 amino acids and having a molecular weight of 20570 Da. The RRF of V. parahaemolyticus is useful for screening for compounds that inhibit its activity. Such compounds are effective for treating or preventing Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
