titleOfInvention Image forming material and image forming method using photocatalyst
abstract (57) [Abstract] (with correction) [Problem] To be provided with an ink repellent layer having water repellent and oil repellent effects, Uses a photocatalyst that can produce hydrophilic and lipophilic surfaces in a short and simple manner by light irradiation and water washing that does not require development, and that can provide an ink-carrying layer that is compatible not only with aqueous inks but also with oil-based inks. Provided image forming material. SOLUTION: A photocatalyst having a surface having a fine uneven structure is treated as a water-repellent treatment to form a water-repellent or oil-repellent ink repellent layer which repels both water-based and oil-based inks. The photocatalyst used as a highly lipophilic surface by exposing the photocatalyst layer by easily decomposing and removing the water / oil repellent by the excitation of the layer and its oxidative decomposition reaction, and using this as the oil-based ink carrying layer. An image forming material is provided. Further, the present invention provides an image forming method using a photocatalyst that forms an ink carrying layer in a short time by promoting light-to-lipophilic change from water- and oil-repellency by irradiating light and washing the surface when decomposing.
