Method for selective removal of carbon monoxide |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective removal method of carbon monoxide capable of improving a removal rate when CO is selectively removed from a gas containing H 2 and CO. . SOLUTION: Two or more kinds of catalysts having different application temperatures are prepared as catalysts having a selective oxidation property of carbon monoxide, and a catalyst group is formed by arranging the catalyst groups in order from a lower application temperature. 2 , a gas containing O 2 and CO is introduced from the side where the application temperature is lower, and the first catalyst is allowed to act. After each successive introduction into the second and subsequent catalysts, O 2 is replenished, It is characterized in that CO in the gas is selectively oxidized and removed by causing a subsequent catalyst to act. |
