titleOfInvention Ceramics radon emission source and its manufacturing method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic radon emission source which can stably emit high-concentration radon gas for a long period of time, is easy to handle, and has high water resistance. SOLUTION: In a ceramic radon emission source, an unnecessary radium salt is fixed in water on a ceramic carrier made of porous ceramics. Such a ceramic radon emission source comprises a first step of obtaining a ceramic carrier made of porous ceramics, a second step of impregnating the ceramic carrier with a radioactive radium solution, and depositing a radioactive radium salt in the ceramic carrier. The radioactive radium salt is subjected to a heat treatment at a high temperature to sinter the water-insoluble radium salt to fix the radioactive radium salt on the ceramic carrier.
