PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method for an expression controlling substance such as a CCT expression inhibitor and an expression inducing agent for finding a substance which specifically regulates the expression of a TCP-1 containing chaperonin (CCT). C that can be selected by the screening method To provide a CT expression inhibitor and a pharmaceutical composition containing the CCT expression inhibitor. A CCT expression controlling substance comprising a step of examining the expression of a reporter gene product in the presence of a test compound using a cell line transformed with a vector in which a reporter gene is linked downstream of a CCT gene promoter. And a pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer, comprising a CCT expression inhibitor that can be selected by the screening method, and a CCT expression inhibitor as an active ingredient. |
