titleOfInvention Gas discharge display panel and method of manufacturing the same
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge display panel which has a cathode having good conductivity and excellent spatter resistance, discharges a whole screen stably at a low voltage, and has a long life. SOLUTION: An anode 11 and a cathode 12 exposed to a discharge space Are disposed facing each other with a discharge interval therebetween, and are sealed together with an ionizable gas in an airtight container. At least one of the cathode and the anode has a boride compound of a rare earth element and a metal oxide. And boride compounds of rare earth elements are La, Gd, Y, Nd, Ce A gas discharge display panel comprising at least one of hexaboride and tetraboride, and wherein the metal oxide contains at least one of MgO and Y 2 O 3 .
