abstract | (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide an ink jet recording medium for recording using ink, which has high ink absorbency, excellent image coloration, and molds the surface of a support when printed. The present invention provides an ink jet recording medium having an excellent aesthetic feeling due to the uneven pattern provided with the ink. An ink jet recording medium according to the present invention is a recording medium comprising a water-resistant opaque support and an ink receiving layer provided thereon, wherein the water-resistant opaque support has a recording medium on the side on which the ink receiving layer is provided. The ink jet recording medium is characterized in that the ink receiving layer provided with a mold and provided thereon is a porous layer mainly containing inorganic ultrafine particles. |
