abstract (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] To improve the accuracy in performing body composition analysis using a linear shape distribution of X-rays. According to the present invention, true body composition using signal processing and dual-energy fan-shaped distribution x-rays to compensate for mass magnification and other effects due to the geometry of the measurement system. Is estimated. To avoid inaccuracies due to beam hardening and other effects, a four-dimensional lookup table derived from experimentally obtained measurements of the thickness of the attenuating material along each optical path is used. Use and decide. To correct for the mass scaling effect due to the use of the fan shaped X-ray distribution, the projected mass is converted to a true mass using another look-up table and interpolation between table entries.
