PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin or a polyamide resin composition suitable for producing a polyamide film having excellent physical properties and transparency. SOLUTION: When a polyamide having a molecular weight of 1000 or more in terms of polystyrene measured by gel permeation chromatography is defined as 100% by weight, a molecular weight of 10 A polyamide resin containing .epsilon.-caprolactam as a main polymer component, wherein the ratio of low molecular weight substances having a molecular weight of from 00 to 10,000 is 10.0% by weight or less. |
