abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified rosin derivative having a (meth) acryloyl group, which can be easily produced, has few by-products and exhibits excellent tackiness during polymerization, and a method for producing the same. A modified rosin derivative having a (meth) acryloyl group represented by the general formula 1 (R 1 is a hydrogen or methyl group, R 2 is a rosin residue, and n is an integer of 0 to 4.) The rosin residue preferably has a hydroabiethyl alcohol residue as a main component. It is preferable to produce the isocyanate compound having a (meth) acryloyl group and a rosin having a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group. (R 1 and n are the same as above.)
