By comparing the casein concentration ratio, the high-temperature storage period of the milk beverage in a container whose high-temperature storage period is unknown is estimated. This concentration ratio is obtained by converting the degree of staining of the electrophoresis pattern of the milk protein into a concentration curve on a densitogram, and calculating the peak area ratio of α-casein and β-casein from the concentration curve.
