abstract | (57) [Problem] To provide a method for producing a silver halide photographic emulsion excellent in silver and halide supply precision productivity and a silver halide photographic emulsion. SOLUTION: In a method for producing a silver halide photographic emulsion by reacting silver nitrate and at least one or more water-soluble halides in an aqueous protective colloid solution, at least a main part of one of the reactants is grained during at least a part of precipitation. A method for producing a silver halide photographic emulsion, which is added to the aqueous protective colloid solution in the form of a solid salt having a diameter of 1 mm or less. |
