abstract |
(57) [Problem] To provide an integrated elliptically polarizing plate suitable for a TN liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In an elliptically polarizing plate in which a transparent protective film, a polarizing film, a transparent support and an optically anisotropic layer formed of liquid crystal molecules are laminated in this order, the refractive index anisotropy of the transparent support is reduced. The chromatic dispersion value is adjusted within the range of 0.7 or more and less than 1.3. |
