abstract (57) [Problem] To improve the rigidity and heat resistance of a polyolefin resin, and to greatly improve the formability, a layered silicate composite material, Provided are a method for producing the same and a molded article made of the composite material. SOLUTION: (a) Layered silicate at a specific ratio, (b) A layered silicate composite material containing an organic cation, (c) an unsaturated monomer-modified polyolefin, and (d) a polyolefin-based resin, wherein the interlayer distance of (a) the layered silicate measured by X-ray diffraction is 40 °. The integrated intensity I (040) of the diffraction peak of the polypropylene crystal (040) plane in the composite material measured by the X-ray diffraction method and the polypropylene crystal (110) A layered silicate composite material which satisfies specific requirements such as an orientation parameter I (040) / I (110) of 4 or more, which is a ratio of the diffraction intensity of the plane to the integrated intensity I (110).
