titleOfInvention Iridescent reflective sheet
abstract (57) [Summary] [Problem] To develop a beetle-type reflection sheet which is excellent in manufacturing efficiency and easy in mass production. SOLUTION: A retardation layer (2) and a polarization scattering layer (3) exhibiting scattering anisotropy depending on a polarization direction are provided between an absorption type polarizing plate (1) and a reflection layer (4). An iridescent reflective sheet whose layer is located on the reflective layer side. [Effect] The reflected light of the light that has been linearly polarized through the absorption type polarizing plate and entered the reflection layer changes the polarization state in the viewing direction due to the scattering anisotropy of the polarization scattering layer, and the phase difference according to the polarization state A color change occurs in the current color polarization phenomenon caused by the layer and the absorption type polarizing plate, and a beetle-type reflection sheet whose color is different depending on the viewing angle can be obtained. By changing the phase difference, the color can be easily changed to form a complementary color-related iridescent color. The reflected light composed of linearly polarized light can be used as it is for a liquid crystal display.
