titleOfInvention Genetic diagnostic method for bovine claudin-16 deficiency
abstract (57) [Problem] To provide a method for diagnosing bovine claudin-16 deficiency. SOLUTION: The cause of bovine claudin-16 deficiency is claudin- It was found that it was caused by a DNA defect of about 30 kb including a part of 16 genes, and the fact that such a deletion could or could not amplify the region containing the gene by using specific PCR primers was used. Then, the disease is genetically diagnosed. Specifically, diagnosis is performed by specifically amplifying a region around the target gene and detecting the deletion. Bovine Claudin-16 deficiency and its carrier can be easily and quickly detected and diagnosed.
