(57) [Summary] (Modifications) [Problem] To provide a production method advantageous for industrially and mass-producing a peptide containing the same or substantially the same amino acid sequence as a specific amino acid sequence or a salt thereof. . A protein or peptide having a cysteine at the N-terminus is linked to a peptide having the same or substantially the same amino acid sequence as the above-mentioned specific amino acid sequence at the N-terminus of the protein or peptide. Fusion protein or peptide which is subjected to a cleavage reaction of the peptide bond on the side or a peptide having the same or substantially the same amino acid sequence as the above specific amino acid sequence at the C-terminus of a protein or peptide having methionine at the C-terminus Is subjected to a cleavage reaction of a peptide bond on the carboxyl group side of a methionine residue, thereby producing a peptide containing an amino acid sequence identical or substantially identical to the above specific amino acid sequence. |
