abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide uniform silver halide seed grains, a silver halide emulsion capable of obtaining stable high performance between production lots by producing using the seed grains, and using the emulsion. A silver halide light-sensitive material which does not vary in graininess even during long-term storage. SOLUTION: In a silver halide seed grain containing silver iodide, an average distance between twin planes in the seed grain is 0.008 μm or more, and a coefficient of variation of the twin plane distance is less than 20%. Silver halide seed grains having an average thickness of 0.08 μm or less and a coefficient of variation of the thickness of the seed grains of less than 20%. |
