Sno gene-deficient heterozygous and homozygous mutant mice |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hetero- or homo-mutant mouse deficient in a sno gene, analyze the function of the sno gene, and provide a hetero- or homo-mutant mouse deficient in the sno gene. It is intended to provide cells and to provide a screening system using these animals or cells. The present invention relates to a non-human animal, preferably a mouse, and cells thereof, which are deficient in the sno gene. The animal or its cell deficient in the gene of the present invention includes a heterozygous or homozygous mutant. The present invention also relates to a method for screening a candidate substance for a drug using the above-mentioned animal or its cell. |
