(57) [Summary] [Means for solving the problem] A solid solution powder in which manganese is dissolved in γ-type nickel oxyhydroxide is used as a positive electrode active material, and the surface of the carbon powder particles is added to the solid solution powder. A conductive agent powder partially coated with cobalt hydroxide is added. According to the present invention, there is provided a sealed alkaline zinc storage battery in which a decrease in discharge capacity in a charge / discharge cycle is small, and an increase in the internal pressure of the battery or leakage of an alkaline electrolyte does not easily occur. |
