titleOfInvention Image display device
abstract (57) [Summary] A matrix-type image display device capable of performing interlaced scanning without deteriorating image quality due to flicker is realized. A dot on a scanning line thinned out in each field is lit at a brightness that is α times (α <1) the lit dot. [Effect] By driving by interlaced scanning, a higher definition image can be displayed at the same signal clock speed.
