titleOfInvention | Constant velocity universal joint |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod-type constant velocity universal joint which further reduces induced thrust generated when an outer joint member and a tripod member transmit a rotational torque while maintaining an operating angle, and further reduces vibration. I do. An outer peripheral surface (2a1) of each leg shaft (2a) of a tripod member (2) is formed in a spherical surface, and a support body (3), a plurality of needle rollers (4) and a roller (5) are assembled on the outer peripheral surface (2a1). Is installed. Inner peripheral surface 3 of support 3 “b” has a conical shape whose diameter gradually decreases toward the distal end side of the leg shaft 2a, and is fitted to the outer peripheral surface 2a1 of the leg shaft 2a. Since the inner peripheral surface 3b of the support 3 has a conical shape whose diameter is gradually reduced toward the tip of the leg shaft, when a rotational torque is applied to this joint, the inner peripheral surface 3b of the support 3 and the leg shaft are connected. A load component directed toward the tip of the leg shaft is generated at the contact position between the outer peripheral surface 2a1 and the outer peripheral surface 2a1. |
