abstract | (57) [Summary] [PROBLEMS] When molding a thermoplastic resin or the like by using naturally occurring magnesium hydroxide as a filler, particularly as a flame retardant, Provided is a resin additive composition or a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent heat aging resistance and processability. SOLUTION: As a surface treating agent together with naturally occurring magnesium hydroxide in a thermoplastic resin or the like, at least one of a polyglycerin derivative and a N-acyl basic amino acid in which at least one of hydroxyl groups of a polyglycerin molecule is esterified with a fatty acid. The thermoplastic resin composition and the like obtained by mixing and using one kind has a significantly improved heat aging resistance and processability when molded, and can provide a molded product excellent in aging and processability. Therefore, it can be widely used as a flame-retardant resin in various molded (coated) products such as coating of electric wires and cables. |
