(57) Abstract: Provided is a method for producing a high refractive index resin excellent in color tone and transparency from an episulfide compound or a composition containing the compound. An episulfide compound or a compound containing the same in the presence of at least one polymerization catalyst selected from the group consisting of a quaternary ammonium salt, a quaternary phosphonium salt, a tertiary sulfonium salt and a secondary iodonium salt. The composition is polymerized and cured. |
