abstract |
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present disclosure discloses the use of unsaturated polyethers and organohydrogensiloxanes as hydroxyl-, carbonyl-, or ether-functional amines as buffer-catalyst modifiers for noble metal hydrosilylation catalysts. An improved process for preparing siloxane-oxyalkylene copolymers by hydrosilylation in the presence is described. Common side reactions such as dehydrogenation enrichment and acetal formation are significantly reduced or eliminated by these amines without reducing the rate of hydrosilylation. |
