abstract | (57) [Abstract] [Problem] While being able to be treated as a solid electrolyte, An object of the present invention is to provide a thin film electrolyte which can be used as an electrochemical device having a desired shape, preferably a solid electrolyte for a battery. A thin film electrolyte according to the present invention comprises a reversible sol-gel composition comprising a reversible gelling agent (e.g., 12-hydroxystearic acid), an electrolyte salt and a solvent for the electrolyte salt.
