titleOfInvention Method for producing optically active cyanohydrin
abstract (57) Abstract: A hydroxynitrile lyase enzyme gene is transformed by incorporating a hydroxynitrile lyase enzyme gene into a reaction solvent containing an aldehyde or ketone and hydrogen cyanide or a substance that generates cyanide ion in a reaction system, and the enzyme activity is transformed. A method for producing an optically active cyanohydrin, comprising adding a recombinant microorganism having the following formula: Effect of the Invention According to the present invention, hydroxynitrile lyase produced by a recombinant gene of hydroxynitrile lyase is used for optical activity using the cells of the recombinant bacterium itself without extracting it from the recombinant bacterium. Cyanohydrin can be easily and efficiently synthesized.
