PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium with improved light fastness and discoloration resistance of an ink jet recorded image, and to provide a high recorded image density and color tone without adversely affecting the hue of a dye. Provided is a recording medium that is clear, has high resolution, and is excellent in ink absorbency and recorded image preservability. SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer of an ink jet recording medium is formed by using an infrared absorbing aminium or diimmonium compound having a specific structure. |
