titleOfInvention Development of rhamno-smacconkey (RMAC) medium and rhamno-smacconkey (CT-RMAC) medium supplemented with cefixime potassium potassium tellurite, which are selective separation media for enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O26
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective separation medium capable of selectively separating enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O26 by culturing a sample. SOLUTION: The selective separation medium for enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O26 according to the present invention comprises a basal medium for detecting Escherichia coli, Rhamnose is added as a sugar component, and tellurite and cefixime are added to inhibit the growth of other bacteria.
