abstract | [PROBLEMS] To develop a low-cost, industrially useful and highly safe method for reducing a sugar hydroxyl group or a halogen atom of a nucleic acid or a derivative thereof (including a nucleic acid-related compound). Have been. The nucleic acid or a derivative thereof has a sugar moiety hydroxyl group. Hypophosphorous acid (including those in the form of hypophosphite) and hypophosphite which are inexpensive and nontoxic to thiocarbonyl derivatives or their halogenated saccharide derivatives and which can be safely used on an industrial scale. By solving any one of the phosphoric acid esters as a radical reducing agent in the presence of a radical reaction initiator, the above-mentioned problem is solved, and an excellent compound in which a sugar group hydroxyl group or a halogen atom of a nucleic acid or a derivative thereof is reduced. An industrial manufacturing method can be provided. |
