| abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a composite film provided with a coating film having a uniform thickness in a width direction by die coating in a film production line. SOLUTION: When applying a coating liquid to at least one surface of a running plastic film in a film production line by a die coater, a die of the coater is provided between a pair of guide rolls, and between the guide roll and the die.
