titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing protective tube for measuring instrument |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent heat resistance and erosion resistance on the surface of a thermometer protection tube attached to a plant for producing olefins such as ethylene and propylene by a thermal decomposition reaction of hydrocarbon gas. And to form a film having good thermal conductivity. SOLUTION: In a substantially oxygen-free atmosphere, a metal binder is coated on the outer surface of a thermometer protection tube in an amount of 5 to 60. Cr or Cr added as a binder component by plasma spraying a carbide cermet containing 5% to 100% by weight of Cr and occupying 5% to 100% by weight of Cr 3 C 2 in the remainder. At least part of the alloy is Cr 23 C 6 , Cr 7 C 3 or Cr 3 C Form a chromium carbide cermet sprayed coating in which the reactive chromium carbide changed to a hard carbide such as 2 is dispersed. |
