abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically obtain a splint which can surely hold and fix a shaped affected part of a patient, can be easily modified according to the shape of the affected part, and can be easily applied to the affected part. And SOLUTION: A sheet 1 of a cloth such as a foam sheet, a woven fabric, a knitted fabric, a non-woven fabric or the like is formed into a size which is approximately adapted to an affected part. A layer 2 made of cloth or the like having elasticity is adhered and fixed to a part of the sheet 1 to form a main zone 3 for maintaining the shape of the affected part, and the layer 2 on the periphery thereof. The sub-zone 4 having no is formed. These are impregnated and held with a water-curable resin 6. The sprint 7 is immersed in water, squeezed lightly to remove excess water, and solidified along the shaped affected area covered with the cotton bandage to fix the affected area.
